Title: Level 1 Grammar
Prerequisites: Placement in ESL 0280 through the department
Description: This course develops English language learners’ grammar knowledge in both speaking and writing. Students will learn to identify and use key linguistic components—including nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions—to describe everyday life events and activities. Grammar instruction will be integrated into communicative tasks that promote accuracy and fluency. Students will build grammatical control and apply CEFR A1 and A2 level vocabulary accurately in spoken and written contexts. This course is cross-listed with CED 0280 (Level 1 Grammar – Continuing Education).
