Title: Level 3 Grammar
Prerequisites: Successful completion of ESL 0451 or placement in ESL 1080 through the department
Description: This course advances English language learners’ grammatical accuracy and fluency in speaking and writing. Students will learn to describe and discuss academic life events and experiences using more complex present, past, and future time frames. Instruction emphasizes accurate use of verb tenses, modals, and passive voice structures in both oral and written communication. Contextualized grammar activities build learners’ confidence in applying grammar to academic and everyday topics. Students will strengthen their command of CEFR B1 and B2 level grammar and vocabulary. This course is cross-listed with CED 1080 (Level 3 Grammar – Continuing Education).
