
The Snow College Dance Company is our premier professional contemporary dance ensemble.
We proudly welcome movers of all backgrounds, experiences, and body types into our
inclusive creative community.
Performance Season
Our annual season features a diverse lineup of high-profile performances, including:
- Mainstage Concerts: Two formal dance concerts at the Kim Christison Theatre.
- Informal Concerts: Two showcases at the Horne Activity Center.
- Regional & National Platforms: Performances at the American College Dance Association (ACDA) Conferences and various
professional dance festivals.
- Collaborations: Joint artistic projects with other Utah-based college dance programs.
Company Schedule & Flexibility
We offer flexible commitment levels, including a part-time participation option to
accommodate your academic workload.
- Class Schedule: Monday and Wednesday from 2:30 PM to 4:20 PM, and Tuesday and Thursday from 2:00
PM to 3:50 PM.
- Rehearsals: Additional evening rehearsals may be scheduled for student choreographic works.
Company Achievements
Our dancers and choreographers consistently achieve recognition on national and international
stages:
- ACDA Recognition: A total of 10 Regional, Virtual, and National Gala selections.
- Invited Festivals: Featured performances at the Midwest RAD Fest (Kalamazoo, MI) and the Dance Now Festival
(NYC).
- Dance Film: Featured dance screen performances at both national and international dance film
festivals.

Students work directly with an esteemed roster of past and present guest choreographers,
including:
- Gierre Godley – Artistic Director of Project 44 (New York, NY)
- Niurca Márquez – Artistic Director of NU Flamenco (Miami, FL)
- Bill Evans – Legendary choreographer and Founder of Bill Evans Dance Company
- Sydney Skybetter – Director of the Brown Arts Institute at Brown University
- Yoshito Sakuraba – Artistic Director of Abarukas Dance Company (New York & Japan)
