International Student Costs

It is estimated that each student will need at least $22,000 per academic year (9 months). This does not include the cost of travel.

Payment Plans

To secure your place at Snow College, after being admitted, you’ll pay an enrollment deposit of $500, which will go towards your tuition.

To pay your tuition fees each semester, you have several options:

  • Set up a regular payment plan which splits your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments with no interest.
  • Make your tuition payments from any bank in any country, and in any currency, via PayMyTuition.
  • Pay online from a bank account in your home country using Flywire.

Please note the following deposit deadlines for the upcoming academic year:

  • Fall 2024 (Students beginning August 2024) – July 1, 2024
  • Spring 2025 (Students beginning January 2025) – December 1, 2024
  • Summer 2025 (Students beginning May 2025) – April 1, 2025

Scholarships

The Snow College Center for Global Engagement is committed to helping international students with their academic and personal goals. For this reason, we offer international students the chance to receive the scholarship listed below:

 

International Scholar Award

  • $5,000 annually (renewable)

This scholarship is awarded based on merit and relies on the following:

  • Academic excellence
  • A history of extra-curricular and volunteer experience
  • Commitment to helping others

Scholarship Application

Please note the following:

  • The scholarship is for international students only.
  • This scholarship is for on-campus students only.
  • These scholarship is a tuition waiver and has no cash value. Students must be able to perform assigned leadership functions and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 each semester to maintain the award.
  • Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

 

Returning Students

Returning international students who have finished two full semesters (on-campus or online) may also apply on the following conditions:

  • The cumulative GPA requirement for returning students is 3.5 and students must be active in global engagement activities.
  • At least one semester must be out of ESL in regular academic classes.
  • Summer does not count as a semester with the exception of students whose first semester was Summer and the visa minimum requirement of 12 credits were taken.

 

Other Scholarships

There are many other scholarships available at Snow College from different departments, private donors, and leadership opportunities. We encourage international students to explore these options and take advantage of the additional financial aid that may be available to them.

Please note that many of these scholarships open on November 1st and then close on March 31st, so you must apply within this window of time to receive these awards.

 

Jobs on- and off-campus and internships

As an international student, you might also choose to work part-time during the semester or full-time over the summer break in order to lower your costs. Our Career Services Department can offer you plenty of support and guidance to help find the right opportunity for you.
