Snow College Recognizes Outstanding Faculty Members

Two faculty members will be recognized during Snow College's Ephraim Commencement Ceremony on May 2, 2025. Professor Travis Schiffman will be presented with the Jesse Madsen Brady Teaching Award, and Professor Rachel Keller will be awarded the J. Elliot & Maxine Cameron Faculty Service Award.

Snow College is pleased to announce a new data-sharing partnership with regional school districts. This new agreement eliminates the application process, providing local students with automatic admission to the college.

Snow College will celebrate its 1,573 graduates during ceremonies on May 1-2. The class of 2025 represent students from each of Utah's 29 counties, 24 different states, and 23 nations. The youngest graduate is 16, and the oldest is 59.

Snow College is pleased to announce its celebration of National Student Employee Week, which will be held the week of April 14. This weeklong event recognizes and honors the hard work, dedication, and contributions of student employees across campus.

New Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services

Snow College announced today that Dr. Tim Tingey has accepted the Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services position. Tingey has worked for over 25 years in education, government, and non-profit organizations and currently works as a full-time professor in the Division of Public Affairs at the University of Utah.

Alumni Garett and Natalie Bolles to Visit Campus

Snow College is pleased to welcome Garett and Natalie Bolles back to campus. The Bolles met at Snow College in 2014 when Garett played football for the Badgers and Natalie was part of the cheer team. After two years at Snow, the couple then went to the University of Utah for one year before Garett was scooped up by the Denver Broncos as a first-round draft pick in 2017. Garett, who is still with the Broncos, is said to be the best left tackle in the National Football League (NFL).

Administration, faculty, staff, and students gathered in the Capitol Rotunda in Salt Lake City on February 5 for "Snow Day on the Hill." This annual event provides an opportunity for legislators to get to know Snow College and what it offers the state of Utah.

Elevate Program Supports Community Education

Snow College has announced the continuation of the Elevate program, which seeks to assist individuals who are looking to enhance their career, grow their business, or learn new skills. Individuals who successfully complete the courses will earn Snow College credit as well as micro-credentials, which can be utilized to demonstrate competency to potential employers. Students may also choose to continue their education and apply the credits toward a certificate or degree at Snow College.
