Snow College will celebrate its 1,108 graduates during ceremonies in Ephraim on May 4 and in Richfield on May 3. For Ephraim, doors of the Activity Center will open at 8:30 a.m., and all guests will need to be seated by 9:30 a.m., when the Processional March will begin from the Student Center. At 10:00, the Commencement Ceremony will begin. There will be a reception in the Blue Gym at 12:00, after the ceremony. The Richfield ceremony will begin at 1:00.
In Ephraim, there will be student addresses from Garrett Sorensen and Weston Sims, the valedictorians of the two- and four-year programs, as well as an address from Natalie Gochnour, the Associate Dean of the University of Utah and Director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute. Gochnour will also receive an honorary degree from the institution. Retiring vice president Craig Mathie will address graduates in Richfield.
Each graduate will receive four tickets for their family to attend the ceremony in Ephraim. Other guests are welcome to watch the ceremony from the Eccles Center overflow. Tickets are not necessary for Richfield.
Graduates who have not yet ordered their regalia will need to get it through the Snow College bookstore. The estimated cost is $40. Alumni Honor Cords are also available for $20.19. The proceeds from these cords will go towards the Alumni Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for present and future students.
