Does aesthetic spontaneity make you frustrated? Do your paintings look flat and unfulfilling? How about a more calculated and methodical approach to oil painting? Grisaille painting maybe the answer. In this workshop we will approach the portrait in a multiple layer process, resolving the shapes, and tonal value ahead of time, before the introduction of color. This time-honored process is just the key to relieve the angst and irritation of direct painting. Come and join us and work out some of your frustration today! This workshop is open to participants at any level of experience.
