You’re the expert in your field. Our job is to take your words, data, and expertise and craft a promotional message to entice potential students to take action. As such, please come with a rough draft. Even if it’s very rough, that’s okay! A paragraph or list of bullet points will help us know what key ideas need to be communicated. The more information you can provide, the better (and faster!) the first draft will be. Keep in mind who your audience is, and what your goal is. Your message should always have a call to action - something that inspires or encourages your audience to act.
To help you know what kind of information to send, consider the following questions:

  • Who is my audience? (Hint: It can’t be everybody. One piece of marketing material cannot be all things to all people. If you have several different audiences, we will treat those as different communications. For example, a flyer to distribute to high school counselors would have a different look/feel than one intended for high school students.)
  • What kind of supporting data would strengthen my message? (Think job statistics, transfer rates, industry certifications, etc.)
  • What action do I want my audience to take? (Should they sign up for something, fill out an application, come to an event?)
